Send a Child to Camp!
For many children, without camp, summer time means working in the garbage dumps. If they don’t have a camp to go to – the children feel pressured to help their parents sift through the garbage to help bring in money.
Responsibility’s Summer Camp allows kids to play, go to a museum, movie, pool or beach (sometimes for the very first time), be creative thinkers and just escape from the demands of school or work. For the children living in the garbage dump, camp is a time when they can breath and where the pressure is off. At Responsibility’s camp, they are encouraged to learn new things, explore and to feel good about who they are and what they can do and be in life.
